ECR member Andrea Putzu organised on 13 April 2023 a CoR local dialogue event about development opportunities to attract employment and investment in the Marche Region. 

​The event ties in with the European Commission's Communication "Harnessing Talent in Europe", as well as with the revision of the Adriatic-Ionian Macro-Regional Strategy (EUSAIR).

"Le Marche is a region with a strong European vocation and aims to have an increasingly central role in the EU", stated Regional Councillor Andrea Putzu. Le Marche is a region characterised by a strong presence of small and medium-sized enterprises, but "unfortunately there are infrastructural gaps which in recent decades have weighed decisively on the development of the region", he added.

Speakers included Francesco Acquaroli, President of the Marche Region, and Nicola Procaccini MEP, Co-President of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group in the European Parliament.​
