Our warmest congratulations to the former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki elected today President of the ECR Party. His leadership will ensure a steady and growing path for European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) political family.

We also extend our congratulations to our former member Carlo Fidanza, Marion Marechal and George Simion on their election as Vice-Presidents of the Party.

The ECR Group thanks Italian Prime Minister and outgoing ECR Party President Giorgia Meloni for her outstanding commitment in guiding the party and leading it to the numerous successes during the last years.

In addition to the Party leadership, the ECR foundation “New Direction”, founded by Margaret Thatcher, has also elected its new bureau. We congratulate Nicola Procaccini, elected President and to Vice-Presidents Roberts Zile and Alexandr Vondra. Together, yhey'll lead the ECR foundation through another successful mandate.
