Pavel Branda: Cross-border cooperation should be integral part of Conference on the Future of Europe

In a CoR plenary debate on the Conference on the Future of Europe with Commissioner Šuica, ECR member Pavel Branda, who also serves as Deputy Mayor of Rádlo Municipality in Czechia, focused his intervention on the importance of cross-border cooperation, which "unfortunately is not specifically mentioned in the Conference".

On the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) held a plenary debate with Mami Mizutori, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction, and Janez Lenarčič, European Commissioner for Crisis Management, on how to increase resilience to disasters.
